Interactive Brokers enhances its Client Portal with new upgrades, reinforcing its commitment to improving user experience and trading efficiency. The latest improvements introduce additional functionalities to streamline trading operations for its clients. One of the most notable updates is the introduction of the Overnight + Day order type.
This new feature allows traders to place orders during the overnight trading session. The orders will continue to execute as SMART orders starting at 4 a.m. and remain active until the end of the extended trading session at 8 p.m.
This extended order execution period provides greater flexibility, enabling traders to capitalize on market movements outside regular trading hours. Clients who wish to use this feature can easily access it through the Order Entry Panel. Users can choose the Overnight + Day option by selecting the Time-in-Force drop-down menu, ensuring their trades have an extended window to execute at optimal prices.
Beyond trading enhancements, Interactive Brokers has also significantly updated its Gen AI Summaries within the Client Portal. These improvements aim to make the artificial intelligence-generated summaries and taxonomy features more visible and accessible across all IBKR applications.
