Chartered Investment and Saxo launch Flow AMC platform, simplifying customised investment strategies for faster asset manager growth.
Chartered Investment and Saxo have strengthened their partnership by launching Flow AMC, a new module designed to simplify how asset managers create, manage, and scale customised investment strategies. The companies said the solution will make Actively Managed Certificates (AMCs) more accessible while reducing the operational burden involved in bringing investment products to market. As part of the expanded partnership, Chartered Investment has integrated Saxo’s brokerage infrastructure into its digital platform.
Consequently, asset managers can access a more automated workflow covering onboarding and investment operations. The integration reduces onboarding time to five days, allowing managers to launch AMC strategies more quickly while limiting administrative complexity. Furthermore, Flow AMC combines Chartered Investment’s digital infrastructure with Saxo’s institutional brokerage capabilities.
Through the integrated setup, asset managers can trade multiple asset classes across global markets and access direct market execution through a single account. This approach can also improve capital efficiency while giving managers greater flexibility when developing and operating customised strategies. The launch arrives as interest in AMCs continues to increase in major wealth management centres such as Singapore and Switzerland.
Unlike conventional fund structures, AMCs can provide asset managers with a faster route to market. Therefore, managers can introduce investment strategies without facing the same level of cost, complexity, and lengthy preparation commonly associated with establishing traditional funds. Henrik Alsøe, Global Head of Saxo Institutional at Saxo, said, “As demand for customised investment solutions continues to grow, we believe asset managers need a simpler and more efficient way to bring strategies to market.” He added that the companies aim to make AMC structures “more accessible, scalable and operationally efficient” through the strengthened partnership.
Meanwhile, Daniel Maier, General Manager at Chartered Investment, said, “Flow AMC brings the efficiency of modern brokerage infrastructure to the AMC market.” He explained that the platform aims to provide asset managers with a flexible and standardised environment that accelerates innovation and supports faster strategy expansion. Moreover, Maier highlighted Saxo’s role in the initiative, describing the brokerage as the right partner to help Chartered Investment advance its vision. With the integration now in place, both companies expect Flow AMC to support asset managers as they respond to changing client requirements and participate in the evolving investment ecosystem.
