GTN is set to launch its services in the UK (United Kingdom) in 2025. The move follows the company’s acquisition of a license from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in 2023. Back in December, FNG reported that GTN appointed Chris Gregory, the former COO of SideCaps, as the CEO of its newly FCA-licensed subsidiary, GTN Europe Financial Services Limited.

Since then, GTN has been laying the groundwork to extend its operations to the UK and across Europe. It aims to serve B2B and B2B2C clients with a strong focus on institutional and professional markets. With operations already established in Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas, GTN aims to use its UK base to complement the offerings of its other regulated entities. Expanding into the UK is part of GTN’s broader strategy to strengthen its global presence and deliver cross-regional financial services to institutional partners.

Over the past year, the company has actively built a strong leadership team, particularly across the MENA region. Among the high-profile hires is Damian Bunce, formerly with Exness, who joined as CEO for the Middle East.

Furthermore, GTN named Zaid Aloul as Chief Commercial Officer for the Middle East, brought on Sham Treon, previously with Arqaam Capital, as Chief Risk Officer, and welcomed Ahmad Abouardini, a Saxo Bank alumnus, as MENA Relationship Manager. By strategically hiring experienced executives and securing key regulatory approvals, GTN is positioning itself as a competitive force in the multi-asset brokerage space.

As GTN continues to expand, it remains committed to delivering high-quality service through regulated channels and experienced leadership, all while responding to the evolving needs of institutional clients across various regions. With its UK launch on the horizon, GTN is steadily advancing its goal of becoming a global leader in financial services.
