Virtu Financial reports strong Q3 results for the period ending September 30, 2025, with solid growth across metrics. The financial services provider, known for leveraging advanced technology to enhance global market liquidity, reported that total revenues surged 16.7% to $824.8 million, up from $706.8 million in the same quarter of 2024. 

Moreover, trading income, net, climbed 19.2% to $529.1 million compared to $444.0 million a year earlier, reflecting a significant improvement in trading performance and market activity. Net income also rose to $149.1 million, marking a sharp increase from $119.0 million in the corresponding period of 2024. As a result, basic and diluted earnings per share reached $0.86, exceeding last year’s $0.65 and $0.64, respectively.

In addition, the company reported a 20.4% increase in Adjusted Net Trading Income, which stood at $467.0 million compared to $388.0 million during the same quarter last year. Adjusted EBITDA also advanced 24.7% to $267.8 million from $214.8 million, indicating strong operational efficiency and profitability.

Furthermore, Normalized Adjusted Net Income, which excludes one-time and non-cash items, increased 26.1% to $166.5 million from $132.1 million in the previous year. Additionally, Virtu’s Normalized Adjusted Earnings Per Share (EPS), assuming all non-controlling interests had been exchanged for common stock and income taxes applied, rose to $1.05 from $0.82 in the prior-year quarter. This improvement highlights the company’s consistent earnings expansion.

As of September 30, 2025, Virtu reported $755.4 million in cash, cash equivalents, and restricted cash, while total long-term debt amounted to $2,068.7 million. Overall, the company’s robust third-quarter performance underscores its strategic execution, operational resilience, and strong positioning in the global financial landscape.
