Plus500 has introduced extended-hours trading for stock-based Over-the-Counter (OTC) products on its proprietary trading platform. This move allows customers to trade some of the most popular stock-based OTC products outside the standard market hours, creating new opportunities for traders to react to global events and market shifts.

The new feature offers pre-market and post-market trading windows, running from 4 am to 8 pm EST, providing broader access to global markets. It enables Plus500 users to buy and sell select stock-based OTC products during market inactivity, allowing them to act on developments in real-time.

Among the exclusive stocks available for extended-hours trading are the “Magnificent 7,” comprising technology giants such as Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), and Microsoft (MSFT). These stocks are known for their market dominance and are often affected by international events, making them particularly appealing for OTC trading outside regular hours.

Plus500’s customers will benefit from the ability to immediately react to market news, such as corporate earnings releases or geopolitical events, without waiting for the market’s official opening. Additionally, traders can adapt to global market trends, especially in regions like Asia, where they can engage with US-traded instruments at more convenient times.

The introduction of extended-hours trading aligns with Plus500’s ongoing commitment to innovation and enhanced customer experience. David Zruia, CEO of Plus500, commented, “We are excited further to expand the capabilities of our OTC trading platform. By introducing extended-hours trading on several stock-based OTC products, we have strengthened and diversified our product lineup, reaffirming our commitment to providing our customers with greater flexibility and accessibility to financial opportunities.”

With this upgrade, Plus500 continues to distinguish itself in the highly competitive OTC market, offering customers increased choice and flexibility while maintaining full access to regular trading hours for those who prefer traditional timeframes.
