FP Markets proudly announces the acquisition of a non-dealing Foreign Exchange Broker License from Kenya Capital Markets Authority (CMA) for its subsidiary, FP Markets Limited.

This recent regulatory approval from Kenya marks a significant milestone for FP Markets, complementing its growing regulatory influence in Africa. The company previously acquired a regulatory license from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) of South Africa on May 10, 2022, highlighting its commitment to establishing a robust global regulatory presence.

Craig Allison, CEO of FP Markets, expressed enthusiasm about the development, stating, “We are thrilled to have been granted the license by the CMA. Kenya has emerged as an important new strategic location for us and is a country that boasts a young and dynamic trading and investing community.”

He further emphasized Kenya’s status as a well-regulated financial services center and a hub for large parts of Africa. Allison stated, “We’re looking forward to operating in Kenya and working together with the local regulatory bodies and government to ensure the industry continues to develop sustainably.”
