eToro partners with Stocktwits, integrating their platforms to offer more seamless access to trading and community engagement for retail investors. A key collaboration feature is a new “trade” button on Stocktwits, allowing users to access eToro’s trading platform and manage their assets directly.
This feature is set to be available to Stocktwits’ 10 million global users, spanning over 200 countries. Stocktwits, known for its vibrant social community where users share insights on stocks and financial markets, will allow its members to view and trade assets listed on eToro through the “trade” button.
This new functionality brings the world of social investing closer to real-time trading, allowing users to interact with financial markets directly from the Stocktwits platform. In a statement, Stocktwits CEO Howard Lindzon expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, saying, “We are excited to partner with eToro to enable our users to view and trade assets via the eToro platform. Both companies believe in the power of community and the value of shared knowledge in navigating the markets.”
The partnership goes beyond simple trading. In addition to the “trade” button, eToro will feature popular Stocktwits content on its asset pages, enabling users to access community-driven discussions and insights. This integration fosters a deeper connection between financial discourse and trading activities, empowering retail investors with knowledge and tools.
Yoni Assia, Co-founder and CEO of eToro shared his excitement for the collaboration, stating, “We have a shared goal of serving the evolving needs of retail investors. Our partnership will enable richer engagement and provide valuable resources to help users grow their knowledge and wealth.”
Further enhancing social interaction, a “share” button will soon allow eToro users to post content directly to Stocktwits, bridging the gap between trading and social engagement. This announcement comes on the heels of eToro’s confidential filing for an IPO in the US, which is eyeing a potential valuation of over $5 billion. If successful, eToro could join other major players like Coinbase and Robinhood in offering crypto trading to US investors. Lastly, with this partnership, eToro and Stocktwits aim to provide a comprehensive platform that blends financial tools with community-driven insights, giving retail traders a more informed and interactive experience.
