eToro expands UK debit card, offering 4% stock rewards on purchases, blending everyday spending with smart investing.
eToro has expanded its Visa debit card offering in the UK, enabling users to earn 4% back in stock rewards on everyday purchases. This latest move reflects the company’s ongoing strategy to blend traditional finance with innovative investing tools. Now, eToro Club members can use their eToro Money-issued debit cards not just for spending at home or abroad but also to build investment portfolios in the process.
The card imposes no currency conversion fees, making it convenient for users who travel or spend internationally. Each time a user makes a purchase, they receive 4% back in their selected UK-listed stock from a curated selection. Users can either keep or sell these stock rewards. eToro confirms the rewards monthly via email and allows users to change their selected stock if desired.
This seamless integration of spending and investing is part of eToro’s broader vision. Doron Rosenblum, Executive Vice President of Business Solutions at eToro, stated, “With the launch of eToro’s new ‘stock-back’ scheme, we are enhancing our debit card offering for our users in the UK. Now, eligible eToro UK clients can efficiently manage their money while earning rewards on everyday purchases.”
In addition to stock rewards, cardholders can enjoy luxury travel benefits. These include early check-in and late check-out through the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection, up to 10% off with Sixt Car Rentals, and the ability to access the Visa AirRefund service in case of flight delays or cancellations. Such features aim to appeal to frequent travelers seeking convenience and value. Dan Moczulski, Managing Director of eToro UK, commented, “This card redefines cashback by turning every purchase into a slice of stock ownership, aligning everyday spending with long-term investing goals.” He emphasized how even small transactions like a coffee or grocery run could steadily grow a user’s portfolio.
Furthermore, eToro recently introduced GBP and EUR accounts alongside USD, allowing users to fund trades directly in their local currencies and avoid conversion fees on UK or EU-listed stocks. The Visa debit card is available to UK-based eToro Club members with no issuing fee or monthly charge. To access the 4% stock rewards, users must opt-in and can earn on spending up to £1,500 per month.
