DTCC introduces next-generation equities data portals, enhancing transparency, analytics, and client operational efficiency globally for firms
DTCC announced plans to introduce next-generation equities data portals designed to provide clients with a more streamlined and intuitive way to access clearing, settlement, and post-trade processing information. The new experience will bring together data from the National Securities Clearing Corporation, the Depository Trust Corporation, and DTCC’s Institutional Trade Processing solutions into a unified interface aimed at improving transparency and usability.
The firm developed the portals through close collaboration with clients, gathering feedback on data requirements and early design concepts. As a result, the upgraded platforms deliver enhanced visibility, advanced analytics, and more efficient workflows. In addition, DTCC built the portals on Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud platform, enabling intuitive dashboards, interactive visualizations, and customizable analytics tools. These capabilities allow firms to better monitor trends, evaluate performance, and improve operational efficiency.
“Launching these portals is a significant milestone in DTCC’s continuing transformation journey,” said Val Wotton, Managing Director and Global Head of Equities Solutions at DTCC. “By combining DTCC’s trusted data with the power of Snowflake’s enterprise-ready platform, we are creating a scalable, secure, and high-performance solution that enhances the client experience and equips clients with actionable insights that may be used to measure their operational efficiency.” The new portals will offer consolidated historical clearing and settlement metrics across NSCC and DTC services, with regularly refreshed datasets designed to support deeper analysis.
Furthermore, users will gain access to advanced analytics dashboards that highlight settlement rates by asset class, outstanding exceptions, and relevant industry benchmarks. Clients will also be able to customize their views using flexible query tools and pivot tables. At the same time, detailed drilldown functionality will connect high-level metrics directly to individual trade records for more precise investigation.
DTCC has already begun beta testing the Securities Data Experiences portal with select early adopters. The firm expects to launch this combined NSCC and DTC data portal in the first quarter of 2026, followed by the redesigned ITP Analytics portal in the second quarter. Overall, the initiative reinforces DTCC’s focus on utilizing innovative technology to enhance operational performance and provide valuable insights to its global client base.
