CFI has announced its role as the Official Online Trading Partner for the NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2024, presented by ADQ. This exciting event will showcase the Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets in two preseason matchups on October 4 and 6 at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island.
Furthermore, this partnership is part of CFI’s strategic collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), highlighting the company’s dedication to elevating Abu Dhabi’s status as a prime location for top-tier sports and entertainment.
The Boston Celtics, renowned as the reigning NBA Champions and the most successful franchise in NBA history with 18 championships, will feature star players, including five-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum and three-time NBA All-Star Jaylen Brown. The Denver Nuggets, fresh off their 2023 championship win, will showcase two-time MVP Nikola Jokić and notable stars like Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon. In addition to the thrilling basketball action, fans can access various events throughout Abu Dhabi.
Highlights include the “NBA Fan Appreciation Day” on October 5 at Etihad Arena, where attendees can enjoy a performance by Grammy-winning rapper 2 Chainz and appearances from NBA legends like Shaquille O’Neal and Kevin Garnett. The day will be packed with on-court activities, including a skills challenge and a slam dunk contest.
Furthermore, the “NBA District” will run from October 3 to 6 at Manarat Al Saadiyat. This engaging experience will blend basketball with popular culture, featuring meet-and-greets with NBA legends and opportunities to explore the sport’s rich history.
The opening night concert on October 3 will also feature a live performance by 2 Chainz.
