Antreas Pilavakis joins FunderPro as Operations Manager, marking a significant career move in the financial technology sector. His appointment comes shortly after concluding a three-year tenure at The Trading Pit, where he served in various capacities, including his most recent role as Business Project Manager.
Pilavakis began his journey at The Trading Pit in May 2022 as a customer service representative and quickly advanced to the head of the department. By March 2024, he had assumed the role of Business Project Manager. His work at the firm involved representing the company at major global events, including expos in Frankfurt, Dubai, Limassol, and Las Vegas. Reflecting on his time at The Trading Pit, Pilavakis expressed gratitude for the opportunities and experiences gained during his tenure.
After taking a three-week break following his departure, Pilavakis has joined FunderPro, where he will be based in Cyprus. In his new role, he aims to achieve operational excellence and drive scalability, aiming to position FunderPro as an industry leader by 2025. “There’s an amazing team of very knowledgeable and experienced people behind FunderPro and the whole group of companies. It’s just a matter of time,” Pilavakis stated.
FunderPro is a division of Red Acre, a Malta-based technology company that owns TradeLocker, a platform widely used by trading firms and prop traders. Pilavakis’s arrival at FunderPro follows Petros Kalaitzis’s appointment as Chief Strategy Officer two months ago. Kalaitzis, who previously worked for Tools for Brokers, highlighted the strategic importance of Pilavakis’s role in the company’s next growth phase.
FunderPro has recently introduced a new affiliate model that is poised to revolutionize the industry. This model, designed to address common industry challenges, such as affiliate churn and revenue loss, offers commissions on all sales made through affiliate links, not just initial purchases. It also includes volume-based commission increases, with potential earnings of up to 20% per challenge sold. Additionally, FunderPro is offering white-label technology for affiliates interested in launching their own prop trading firms, further solidifying its position as a leader in the financial technology space.
