Webull Launches AI-Powered MCP Trading Server, enabling investors to access market data, manage accounts, and execute trades.
Webull Corp has announced the successful launch of its Webull Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. This new artificial intelligence-powered solution enables investors to interact with the company’s OpenAPI through natural-language commands rather than traditional programming methods. The company introduced the MCP server in April, and since then, active traders have increasingly adopted the technology to enhance their trading activities.
By allowing users to communicate with trading systems through plain-language instructions, Webull has simplified access to advanced trading capabilities that previously required coding expertise. The MCP server connects AI agents directly to Webull’s trading infrastructure and tools, enabling clients to perform a wide range of trading-related tasks. Users can query real-time market data, monitor account balances and positions, place new orders, modify existing trades, cancel orders, and review order histories and details.
As a result, investors can manage their trading activities more efficiently without needing technical programming knowledge. Anthony Denier, Group President and U.S. CEO of Webull, highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence in financial markets. He stated that AI is transforming how investors engage with markets and emphasized that the MCP server reflects Webull’s commitment to leading technological innovation in the investment sector.
According to Denier, the company aims to remove barriers that have traditionally limited access to sophisticated trading tools and to create a foundation for the next generation of self-directed investors. Furthermore, Webull designed the MCP server to broaden access to advanced trading technology beyond developers and quantitatively focused traders. The platform now allows a wider range of investors to utilize tools that were once available primarily to individuals with specialized technical skills. Consequently, retail investors can leverage more advanced market analysis and trading functionalities through a simplified user experience.
The company has already made the MCP server available to all U.S. clients. Meanwhile, Webull plans to expand access to additional international markets in the near future. Through this rollout, the company continues to strengthen its focus on innovation and user accessibility while leveraging artificial intelligence to reshape the online investing experience. As demand for AI-driven financial solutions grows, Webull positions itself to play an increasingly significant role in the evolution of modern trading technology.
